The short version
Prompt Optimizer runs in your browser. What you type, your saved prompts and your settings stay on your computer. I do not run a server that receives them, and I do not have accounts.
What is stored on your device
Your prompt library, settings, theme choice and (only if you choose to save it) your AI provider key are stored in your browser's local storage on your computer. Clearing your browser data erases them. I cannot see or recover them.
The optional AI pass (full version)
If you enter your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key and click "Run AI pass", your prompt is sent directly from your browser to that provider, using your key. It does not pass through any server of mine. The provider's own privacy policy and terms apply to that request, and usage is billed to your account with them.
This website
The website and free demo are static pages. I use no advertising trackers.
Purchases
Payments are handled by the checkout platform you buy through, which acts as the seller or merchant of record and handles your payment details and receipts. I receive the information the platform shares with me (such as your email address and what you bought) so I can provide support and updates.
